Lisa Everett is a single mum to three teenagers . She ran her own Children’s Day Nursery for eighteen years and then returned to University to train as a counsellor. She worked as a counsellor in a school for five years counselling children with behaviour problems and learning difficulties. At present she is Support Manager/Counsellor for a charity that houses the homeless and supports those in recovery from substance misuse or  mental health issues. Lisa enjoys writing for children and her collection of books under the name The Repairables is aimed at children age 6 to 9 years.
